ALTA LAGUNA

San Francisco, CA

Alta Laguna is a $100 million, vibrant mixed-use community that includes 330 new wood-frame units, including 50 affordable family units that achieved LEED-ND (Neighborhood Development) Gold Certification.

Contributing to this dynamic blend of urban living is the adaptive reuse and expansion of two existing historic Spanish Colonial Revival buildings into a 12,000 SF community facility and 23 residential units. Significant to the overall project was the design of several outdoor spaces including the new 20,000 SF Waller Park.

55 Laguna consists of 50 studio, one and two bedroom units for persons 55 years and older. This development includes the adaptive re-use and renovation of the Richardson Hall built in 1924 in the Spanish Colonial Revival style as a teaching school. This renovation will incorporate new non-smoking units of LGBT friendly housing and residential amenities.
