Swinerton Management & Consulting (SMC) is bringing home two awards from the 2018 DBIA Conference in New Orleans! The DBIA conference is a must-attend event for Design-Build Professionals and a great opportunity to increase expertise, build business, and make industry connections. 2018 is also DBIA’s silver anniversary, making the awards extra special.
East County Hall of Justice (ECHOJ) in Dublin, CA won the Award of Excellence as the top Federal/State/County/Municipal project in the United States. ECHOJ was also one of the three finalists for Design-Build Project of the Year. SMC has provided PM/CM services to the County of Alameda on ECHOJ and other projects since 2008.
Solano Community College’s Biotechnology Building in Fairfield, CA was one of only four education projects nationwide to receive an Award of Merit. This is the Biotechnology Building’s second prestigious award this year. It had previously won ENR California’s Best Projects Award in the Higher Educations/Research category. SMC has provided PM/CM services on 10 projects for the Solano Community College District since 2013.
